While Christian Heritage Academy's victory against Temple Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Crusaders 4-2. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on four straight.

Jake Bowles made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over 4.1 innings pitched. Bowles was also solid in the batter's box, earning one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Bowles wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Mullins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Mullins has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Christian Heritage Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Temple Christian, their record now sits at 7-6.

As of now, neither Christian Heritage Academy nor the Crusaders have any future games scheduled.
