Basketball Game Preview: Marion County Knights vs. Taylor County Cardinals

Marion County hasn't had much luck against Taylor County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Marion County Knights will square off against the Taylor County Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Tuesday, Marion County came up short against Green County and fell 66-57. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Taylor County also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Wayne County by a score of 55-46.

Marion County's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Taylor County, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Marion County was dealt a bruising 74-41 loss at the hands of Taylor County when the teams last played back in February. Can Marion County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
