Baseball Recap: Kennard-Dale Comes Up Short

Boiling Springs hit Kennard-Dale with a nine-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rams lost 15-8 to the Bubblers. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kennard-Dale saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Harris, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Owen Gorbel also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Kennard-Dale's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Boiling Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
