Iola waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the New Caney Eagles.

Iola's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for New Caney, with the defeat, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-2.

Coming up, Iola is headed away from home for the first time to take on Montgomery at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Caney, they will challenge Porter at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
