Cristo Rey Jesuit is 8-1 against Holy Trinity since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cristeros will face off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Holy Trinity took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Cristo Rey Jesuit, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Cristo Rey Jesuit beat Christ the King 2-0. The Cristeros haven't had any issues with the Gladiators recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

While Cristo Rey Jesuit might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Christ the King scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Thursday. Holy Trinity fell 2-0 to Rochelle Zell Jewish. Holy Trinity has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12.

Cristo Rey Jesuit's win bumped their record up to 11-6-1. As for Holy Trinity, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Cristo Rey Jesuit was able to grind out a solid victory over Holy Trinity when the teams last played back in April, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cristeros since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
