Volleyball Game Preview: Big Lake Hornets vs. Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats + How To Watch

The Big Lake Hornets will venture away from home to take on the Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Big Lake didn't have quite enough to beat Becker and fell 3-2. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Big Lake wouldn't go down easily and took Becker into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking seven-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-27, 15-8.

Meanwhile, Chisago Lakes Area had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Eagles 3-0.

While Chisago Lakes Area won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 25-21.

Big Lake's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Chisago Lakes Area, their win bumped their record up to 15-8.

Big Lake took their victory against Chisago Lakes Area when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
