Jenison faced Brighton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won five contests in a row.

Karis Chatfield paced Jenison's offense, picking up 11 kills. Chatfield got some help from Cora Rotman and her 18 assists. Payton Buchanan controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Jenison's win bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Brighton, they moved to 17-2-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
