Volleyball Game Preview: Syracuse Titans vs. Farmington Phoenix

The Syracuse Titans will take on the Farmington Phoenix at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Syracuse will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Thursday, Syracuse made easy work of Layton and carried off a 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 25-15.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Thursday Farmington sidestepped Weber for a 3-2 victory. The Phoenix haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Farmington got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 27-29, 30-28, 19-25, 25-20, 15-12.

Farmington's win came from a few key players Syracuse will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Charlie Evans, who had 17 digs and one assist. Those 17 digs gave him a new career-high.

Syracuse pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Farmington, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Syracuse was able to grind out a solid victory over Farmington in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, winning 3-1. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Phoenix turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
