Soccer Recap: Red Bluff Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Red Bluff was not quite Pleasant Valley's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Pleasant Valley Vikings by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 552nd, while the Vikings are ranked 120th).

This is the second loss in a row for Red Bluff and nudges their season record down to 14-10. As for Pleasant Valley, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

As of now, neither Red Bluff nor Pleasant Valley have any future games scheduled.
