Basketball Game Preview: Niceville Eagles vs. Freeport Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Niceville Eagles will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Freeport Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Niceville is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Booker T. Washington. The Eagles escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Wildcats by the margin of a single free throw, 49-48. The game was the first time the Eagles have beaten the Wildcats on their court since January 25, 2022.

Niceville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Audrina Nelson out in front who went 10-for-22 to rack up 27 points and six rebounds. Those six boards gave Nelson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carson Fayard, who posted 14 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Freeport not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since December 27, 2024 (when they won 70-42). They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 58-31 win over Arnold.
