Softball Recap: Concrete Comes Up Short

Concrete was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Darrington Loggers, falling 24-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Loggers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-7 on Tuesday.

Concrete's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Darrington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Concrete does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Darrington, they will welcome Sultan at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Turks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.79 runs per game on average), something the Loggers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
