The third road match was the charm for Chilhowie, as they earned their first road win of the season. Everything went their way against the Rural Retreat Indians on Friday as the Chilhowie Warriors made off with a 66-46 win. That 20 point margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Chilhowie has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Rural Retreat, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chilhowie has already played their next contest (against Holston), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Rural Retreat won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Eastern Montgomery at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
