Soccer Recap: Cooper City Comes Up Short

Cooper City and St. Thomas Aquinas squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Cooper City had to settle for second. They lost 6-0 to the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Cowboys' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cooper City's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which somehow still isn't as good as their 18-1 record this season.

Cooper City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Thomas Aquinas, they will square off against Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Lakewood Ranch comes in on eight and St. Thomas Aquinas on six.
