Softball Recap: Renton Takes a Loss

Renton lost to Foster back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Redhawks took an 18-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Redhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Renton's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Foster, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.

Looking ahead, Renton will venture away from home to challenge Mercer Island at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games the Islanders have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Foster, they will welcome Lindbergh at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 9 runs per game this season.
