Volleyball Recap: Dunmore Takes a Loss

Dunmore was the 3-1 winner over Montrose when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bucks fell just short of the Meteors by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. The Bucks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Dunmore sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22.

Leena Conte paced Dunmore's offense, picking up five kills. Conte got some help from Katelyn Henry and her five assists.

Dunmore's loss dropped their record down to 8-4-1. As for Montrose, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Dunmore has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Valley View on the 22nd. As for Montrose, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Lackawanna Trail on the 23rd.
