Soccer Game Preview: Meyer vs. University

The Meyer Ravens are taking a road trip to challenge the University Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Meyer managed to keep up with Lorena until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Ravens lost 3-0 to the Leopards. Meyer have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, University came up short against Sam Houston on Wednesday, falling 8-2. While losing is never fun, University can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 231st, while Sam Houston are ranked 48th).

University's loss dropped their record down to 5-4-2. As for Meyer, the defeat was their first on the road, dropping their record down to 4-4-2.
