Basketball Recap: Crescenta Valley Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

Crescenta Valley won the last time they faced Muir, and Vaughn Zargarian did his part to make sure it happened again. The Crescenta Valley Falcons strolled past the Muir Mustangs with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 64-45 thanks in part to Zargarian, who went 13 for 26 en route to 40 points and seven steals. That makes it 20 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Crescenta Valley's points.

Crescenta Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Muir, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
