Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cypress Falls walked away with it. They blew past the Lamar Texans 73-47 on Monday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Lamar lost, don't look at Phoenix Sneed. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten boards. Sneed is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Madison Tran, who posted six points.

Cypress Falls is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 27-5 record this season. As for Lamar, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.

Looking ahead, Cypress Falls will challenge Cinco Ranch on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Cinco Ranch comes in on 13 and Cypress Falls on three. Lamar does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
