Softball Recap: Ocean Lakes Has No Trouble Against Cox

While Ocean Lakes put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Cox. The Dolphins blew past the Falcons 9-0. The result was nothing new for the Dolphins, who have now won eight matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Ocean Lakes is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Cox, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ocean Lakes will take on Tallwood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cox, they will venture away from home to square off against Great Bridge at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
