 Canyon Crest Academy had to endure  a  three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged the Fallbrook Warriors out  6-5. That's more bragging rights for Canyon Crest Academy, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
  Allen Liu tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out nine over 4.2 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.  Derek Yu relieved him and did a solid job,   pitching 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate,  Andrew Becker was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  runs, a  triple,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jack Harkin, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
 On Fallbrook's side,  Camden Hoff and  Isaiah McMillian stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Hoff  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double, while  McMillian  scored three  runs while going 3-for-4.
 Canyon Crest Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Fallbrook, they have  fallen quite a ways from their 23-10-1 record last season and are now  at 2-6.
 Canyon Crest Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against El Camino at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. El Camino will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last. As for Fallbrook, they will head out on the road to  square off against  San Marcos at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. San Marcos will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something Fallbrook surely won't give up without a fight.
