Soccer Recap: Minooka Takes a Loss

After flying high against Joliet Central on Thursday, Minooka came back down to earth. The Indians came up short against the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers on Monday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Minooka can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 104th, while Wheaton-Warrenville South are ranked eighth).

Minooka now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, their win bumped their record up to 4-0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Minooka will face off against Bolingbrook at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, they will head out to challenge Geneva at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
