Cheboygan had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the Gaylord Blue Devils 1-0. Winning may never get old, but the Chiefs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row dating back to last season.

Cheboygan will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Grayling at 7:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Gaylord, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Kingsley on the 22nd.
