Saranac won the last time they faced Ticonderoga and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Saranac Spartans walked away with a 51-38 victory over the Ticonderoga Sentinels. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 87th, while the Sentinels are ranked 302nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Saranac has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Ticonderoga, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Saranac and Beekmantown will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. As for Ticonderoga, they will venture away from home to face off against Saranac Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ticonderoga is facing Saranac Lake at the right time seeing as Saranac Lake is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
