Baseball Game Preview: Abington Green Wave vs. East Bridgewater Vikings

Abington hasn't had much luck against East Bridgewater recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Green Wave will welcome the Vikings at 4:00 p.m.

Things were looking good for Abington after they put the first run on the board on Monday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rockland.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Bridgewater). They walked away with a 9-5 win over Apponequet Regional on Friday. The game was the first time the Vikings have beaten the Lakers on their field since June 2, 2016.

East Bridgewater is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Abington, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
