Soccer Recap: Reno Comes Up Short

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Reno was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They came up short against the Sparks Railroaders, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Reno can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada soccer rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Sparks are ranked fifth).

Reno's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Sparks, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Reno has already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against Spanish Springs on the 24th. As for Sparks, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Reed on the 24th.
