Basketball Recap: Summit Takes a Loss

After flying high against Otay Ranch on Thursday, Summit came back down to earth. The Summit SkyHawks fell just short of the Thousand Oaks Lancers by a score of 62-60 on Friday.

Summit's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Thousand Oaks, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Summit and Canyon Springs will face off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. As for Thousand Oaks, they and Otay Ranch will face off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
