Softball Recap: Ridgeway Triumphs

While Ridgeway's win against Kirby wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Roadrunners sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 15-13 victory over the Cougars on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Roadrunners considering their one-run performance the game before.

The win got Ridgeway back to even at 2-2. As for Kirby, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Ridgeway and Kirby will both be playing Craigmont the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the Chiefs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Roadrunners will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on the 29th.
