Softball Recap: Daviess County Falls Short Against Ranked Henderson County

Daviess County faced Henderson County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Colonels by a score of 8-7. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 7-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Daviess County's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Henderson County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-3.

Coming up, Daviess County will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Owensboro at 5:30 p.m. As for Henderson County, they will face off against Gibson Southern at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
