Volleyball Game Preview: Carmel Padres vs. Harbor Pirates

The Carmel Padres will face off against the Harbor Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harbor took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Carmel, who comes in off a win.

Carmel is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They put the hurt on Stevenson with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Padres.

Carmel not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Stevenson between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Harbor unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Santa Cruz by a score of 3-2.

Carmel's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Harbor, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-10.

Carmel came up short against Harbor when the teams last played back in August, falling 3-1. Can the Padres avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
