Shreveport HomeSchool Sports waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past Word of God Academy 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

While Shreveport HomeSchool Sports won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-22.

Amber Helms paced Shreveport HomeSchool Sports' offense, picking up eight kills. Helms really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 17. Anneth Martinez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Shreveport HomeSchool Sports' victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Word of God Academy, their loss ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-13.

Shreveport HomeSchool Sports didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Ascension Classical on the 7th. As for Word of God Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Mount Olive Christian on the 6th.
