Football Game Preview: General McLane Lancers vs. Cathedral Prep Ramblers + How To Watch

General McLane is 0-4 against Cathedral Prep since October of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Lancers will look to defend their home field against the Ramblers at 7:00 p.m. General McLane is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games.

General McLane hadn't beaten Meadville on the road since September 7, 2018 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Lancers blew past the Bulldogs 49-20. Considering the Lancers have won seven contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Cathedral Prep took a blow against Benedictine on Friday, falling 53-23.

General McLane will have to contain DaZarie Carson as he made an impact in Cathedral Prep's last game. He rushed for 189 yards and three touchdowns. Carson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 104 rushing yards.

Cathedral Prep now has a losing record of 3-4. As for General McLane, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
