Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Lions vs. Whitewater Wildcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Trinity Christian Lions face off against the Whitewater Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday... Trinity Christian has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since November 9.

Last Tuesday, Trinity Christian took a blow against LaGrange, falling 77-35. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 452nd, while the Grangers are ranked 168th).

Trinity Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jd Hearn, who posted four points and six rebounds, and Cameron Wallace, who earned nine points. What's more, Wallace also racked up four boards, the most he's had since back in January of 2024.

Meanwhile, Whitewater came up short against LaGrange on Saturday and fell 54-47. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trinity Christian's record now sits at 1-13. As for Whitewater, their record is now 9-6.

Trinity Christian suffered a grim 75-54 defeat to Whitewater in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Trinity Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
