The Lakewood Cougars will head out to take on the Squalicum Storm at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lakewood will be strutting in after a win while Squalicum will be coming in after a defeat.

In other batting news, Brayden McAllister was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Jones, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI and one run.

Lakewood took their win against Squalicum in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
