Cypress Lake extended their postseason success on Friday against Key West. They skirted past the Key West Conchs 24-21. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Panthers were the better team in the second half.

Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 12.6 points per game. As for Key West, they moved to 8-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Cypress Lake's road trip will continue as they head out to face Northwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Northwestern has won five straight at home, while Cypress Lake won four straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Key West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
