Volleyball Recap: Liberty Comes Up Short

Liberty lost against Illini West back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Chargers.

Andi Mixer paced Liberty's offense, picking up four kills. Mixer got some help from Weslee John and her six assists.

Liberty now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Illini West, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Rushville-Industry on the 6th. As for Illini West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Augusta Southeastern on the 6th.
