Baseball Recap: Park Comes Up Short

Park extended their losing streak to five on Wednesday, dropping them down to 1-5. They fell 14-11 to the Stillwater Ponies. That's two games in a row now that the Wolfpack have lost by exactly three runs.

As for Stillwater, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games.

For Stillwater's part, M Runk was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Park is set to square off against their familiar foe Forest Lake at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Stillwater will take on rival Irondale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
