Basketball Game Preview: Rappahannock Raiders vs. Colonial Beach Drifters

Rappahannock and Colonial Beach are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The two teams will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Rappahannock is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

On Monday, Rappahannock ended up a good deal behind Middlesex and lost 54-37. The Raiders were down 47-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Colonial Beach beat Mathews 60-50 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Drifters.

Colonial Beach's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Rappahannock, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.

Rappahannock came up short against Colonial Beach in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 51-45. Can Rappahannock avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
