Softball Recap: Bullitt East Picks Up 12th Straight Win at Home

Bullitt East proved they can win big on Monday (they won by 15) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Mercy Jaguars 3-1. The win was familiar territory for the Chargers, who have now won four contests in a row.

The team relied heavily on Alivia Cooper, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Bullitt East pushed their record up to 27-5 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Mercy, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-14.

As of now, neither Bullitt East nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
