Soccer Recap: Sun Valley Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Sun Valley kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Penncrest Lions. Sun Valley have struggled against Penncrest recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sun Valley will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Great Valley at 6:00 p.m. on September 18. As for Penncrest, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Unionville at 5:00 p.m.
