Basketball Recap: Carolina Friends Takes a Loss

Carolina Friends lost against Burlington Christian Academy back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Carolina Friends Quakers were dealt a 76-19 loss at the hands of the Burlington Christian Academy Royals. The match marked the Quakers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Carolina Friends has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Burlington Christian Academy, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-8.

Carolina Friends will take on The Burlington School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Burlington School will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Carolina Friends surely won't give up without a fight. As for Burlington Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-66 victory against Trinity Christian on the 18th.
