Soccer Game Preview: Revere vs. Copley

The Revere Minutemen will face off against the Copley Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Saturday, Revere came up short against Twinsburg and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Revere can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 66th, while Twinsburg are ranked 13th).

Revere's goal came courtesy of Braeden Johnston, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Copley also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Manchester by a score of 3-1.

Revere's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-3. As for Copley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.

Revere came out on top in a nail-biter against Copley when the teams last played back in October of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Minutemen have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
