Softball Recap: Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers vs. New London-Spicer Wildcats

After flying high against Watertown-Mayer last Thursday, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted came back down to earth. The Lakers fell 9-6 to the New London-Spicer Wildcats on Tuesday. The Lakers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 10-3.

Breckyn Jonell was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ari Keating, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.
