In what's become a running theme this season, the Northbrook Raiders gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Cypress Creek 5-1. With Northbrook ahead 3-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
They hit Cypress Creek with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Lizbeth Guzman (2),
Sarai Sebastian,
Ashelyh Ruiz, and
Jaylyn Gomez.
Northbrook's win bumped their record up to 14-4-2. As for Cypress Creek, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-8-4.
Northbrook will be playing at home against Jersey Village at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jersey Village's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Cypress Creek, they will be playing at home against Spring Woods at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Cypress Creek is facing Spring Woods at the right time seeing as Spring Woods is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
