USC Hybrid waltzed into their match on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Neuwirth Leadership Academy Boxers with a sharp 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Boxers back in March, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

While USC Hybrid might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Neuwirth Leadership Academy scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-18, 25-22.

USC Hybrid's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Francisco Sandoval, who had 59 digs. Sandoval has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Marcelo Sousa, who had 30 digs and seven aces.

USC Hybrid now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Neuwirth Leadership Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. USC Hybrid will face off against Esperanza College Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Neuwirth Leadership Academy, they will square off against New Designs University Park at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
