Volleyball Recap: Buffalo Grove Comes Up Short

Buffalo Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Wheaton North Falcons. The Bison were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-8.

Leading Wheaton North to victory were Sophia Ohashi and Abby Lee. Ohashi had eight assists and five digs, while Lee had five digs and two aces. That's the most digs Ohashi has posted since back in September of 2024.

Buffalo Grove's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Wheaton North, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Buffalo Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Romeoville on the 30th. As for Wheaton North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Fremd on the 30th.
