Salem won the last time they faced Roxana and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wildcats came out on top against the Shells by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Salem never let Roxana on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19.

Salem had a senior duo take command as Kale Benjamin had 12 digs and Morgan Kurwicki had 11 digs.

Despite the loss, Roxana still got an impressive performance from Ava Cherry, who had eight digs.

Salem's victory bumped their record up to 18-10. As for Roxana, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-24 record this season.

Salem has already played their next contest (against Casey-Westfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Roxana does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
