Basketball Recap: Whitney Takes a Loss

Whitney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were beaten by the West Trojans 43-11. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1303rd, while the Trojans are ranked 618th).

Whitney's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for West, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitney has already played their next game (against McGregor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Clifton.
