Basketball Recap: Astoria Comes Up Short

Astoria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 67-53 to the Seaside Seagulls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fishermen this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-46 back in January.

Astoria's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Seaside, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-9.

Astoria has already played their next match (against Scappoose), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Seaside also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against St. Helens.
