Odenton Christian scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 72-57 to the Lighthouse Baptist Academy Eagles. While losing is never fun, the EAGLES can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 284th in Maryland, while the Eagles are ranked 113th in Virginia).

Lighthouse Baptist Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Varney, who posted 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Dinkle, who had 16 points.

Odenton Christian dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
