Football Game Preview: Richardson Eagles vs. Irving Tigers + How To Watch

The Richardson Eagles will challenge the Irving Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Richardson is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Richardson didn't have quite enough to beat Berkner and fell 17-14.

Despite the defeat, Richardson saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chad Watson made ten total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended one pass.

Meanwhile, Irving played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Dallas Jesuit, falling 52-13. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Rangers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Richardson's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Irving, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Richardson against Irving in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 56-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
